マイアミ出身、Cannonball Adderleyに見出され50年代より活動するトランペット奏者、Blue Mitchell！彼が72年に【Mainstream】よりリリースしたアルバム。勿論期待を裏切らないナイス・ジャズファンクを満載。ダーティーなシンセに弾んだドラムとホーンが渋く絡む2.「Just Made Up」、ブラックスプロイ調な緊張感が漂う3.「Blue's Blues」等、どの曲も文句無しにカッコ良い！！
